About this Event
About this Class:
It’s time to get your hands messy! In our hands-on format, our Scuola Chef will prepare the signature dish for you to taste during the class. You’ll then dive right in and create the recipe yourself from scratch. After cooking, sit down and enjoy your culinary creation straight off the burner for a truly immersive experience.
About this Dish:
Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia is a striking and deeply flavorful Venetian classic, known for its rich black color and briny depth. Made with fresh cuttlefish (or squid), aromatic garlic, olive oil, white wine, and ink, this dish captures the essence of Venice’s lagoon cuisine. In this class, you’ll learn how to clean and prepare the seafood, build a silky squid ink sauce from scratch, and cook spaghetti to the perfect al dente before bringing everything together into an elegant and unforgettable pasta.
In this Class You Will:
- Learn about the culinary traditions and coastal inspiration behind this iconic Venetian pasta
- Enjoy a curated menu featuring an antipasto and wine pairing
- Create and savor your own finished Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia
