Don your best green 'fit and join us on Tuesday, March 10 for an “Irish Adventure"! Participants will explore the culture and history of Ireland, and hear about the Irish immigrants who helped shape the Mount Horeb area. Students will dabble in a mix of Irish traditions: they’ll create a Celtic knot (ancient symbol of eternity and interconnectedness), try their hand at finger weaving (in honor of the island country’s seafaring traditions), learn about Saint Patrick (patron saint of Ireland)—and more!
This, and every session, will wrap up with an exhibit scavenger hunt, so our young historians become comfortable with museum etiquette and familiar with the stories, people and places in their own hometown.
