Where: Hosted by Wildflower Sporthorses in the indoor arena at our home base in Georgetown: Copper Beech Farm. When: Saturday, February 21 from 8am - 5pm ish with a one hour break for lunch. If there is enough interest Sunday will be opened up as a second day to accommodate attendees.
How much: $75 per day
What else: Attendees in this clinic will learn how to present horses in hand for hunter/dressage breed shows, inspections, as well as how to work on a team in a jump chute. The day begins with a brief lecture and is followed by lots of hands on practice in the morning and afternoon. Junior riders welcome but helmets will be required and vests are recommended. We will have some vests available for use. Horses are provided for attendees to practice with. Just bring shoes that are comfortable to wear all day and move in, a water bottle, and a good attitude!
Space is limited so as to maximize the hands on opportunities for each trainee. This is a great opportunity to learn to present your horse for in hand shows and inspections as well as an opportunity to begin learning the role of a professional handler if that is an avenue you are interested in. This clinic is meant to serve as a starting point for educating the next generation of horsemen and women.
Please PM Wildflower Sporthorses, email [email protected], or text 502-682-2288 to sign up.
