If your answer to any of these questions is yes, then this workshop is for you! Join our experts Joe, Andrew and the Garden Goodness team for an afternoon learning the art of grafting fruit trees. We'll firstly dive into the science behind grafting before you get the opportunity to try grafting for yourself - and this is where you get a huge opportunity.
For only the second time ever, if you would like to graft a tree to take home, purchase a fruit tree of your choice from the Smithfield Spring/Summer Fruit Tree sale and you'll have the opportunity to graft other varieties of your choice on to the original tree. Fruit salad trees are usually worth a lot of money so this is a great affordable way to create your own. Plus, you get to practise your grafting skills under the watchful guidance of our expert team.
*** NB. Please arrive early before the workshop to consult with the workshop co-ordinators in the selection of your fruit tree. Varieties must be compatible so the grafts succeed.
