It’s time to get your hands messy! In our hands-on format, you’ll dive right in and make the dish using ingredients prepared by our Eataly kitchens. Our Scuola Chef will begin by serving a curated antipasto for you to enjoy before guiding you through the art of making fresh gnocchi from scratch. Then, sit back and savor your culinary creation alongside a thoughtfully selected wine pairing.
About this Dish:
Gnocchi are one of Italy’s most beloved traditional dumplings, known for their light and pillowy texture. In this class, you’ll learn how to shape your own gnocchi dough before tossing it in a classic Amatriciana sauce, featuring tomatoes, guanciale, Pecorino Romano, and a touch of chili for a rich and flavorful Roman specialty.
In This Class You Will:
- Learn about the traditions and history of Gnocchi all’Amatriciana
- Observe as our Scuola Chef demonstrates the techniques behind this classic Roman dish
- Shape and prepare your own Gnocchi all’Amatriciana by hand
- Enjoy a menu featuring a curated antipasto and wine pairing, along with your finished Gnocchi all’Amatriciana prepared during class
