Learn to bake Babka, the rich, sweet yeast bread with a swirl of cinnamon and chocolate. In this hands-on class, you'll master the techniques for preparing the dough, rolling and layering the filling, and shaping the loaf to achieve its signature twisted look. Gain tips on proofing and baking for a golden crust and tender crumb. Walk away with your own freshly baked Babka to enjoy and the confidence to recreate it at home. What To Expect
Great cooking is about more than just recipes—it's about celebrating culinary experiences with a foodie community. In this class, you'll learn with other students in a positive, interactive environment led by our professional chef instructor.
Instructor: No Thyme to Cook Lead Chef
Length: Approximately 3 hours
Format: Hands-On. Get ready to stir up your inner chef as you work with other students, typically in groups of four people, guided by the chef instructor. You’ll be standing and cooking during the class, so please wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes and have long hair tied back. Make sure to bring your appetite because you will enjoy all the dishes created during the class.
Location: First Floor.
Restrictions: Classes are for participants aged 18 and older. Children aged 16-18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
