Hands-On Assists Trainingwith Kristen Watson Geering
November 6th-9th
at The Looking Glass Basel
This 4 day Intensive is open to Yoga Teachers who would like to hone their skills in further developing "hands on assists," as well as students who are interested in deepening their knowledge of asana and their practice through the lens of assisting.
We will cover aspects of Hands-On Assists such as:
- Consent and the role of the teacher and power dynamics
- Types of assists (although this workshop will focus on hands-on)
- The goal of the assist and which is being chosen and why
- The approach, the assist itself, and exiting
- Several assists for each pose depending on what we see the student doing
- The use of Props to support the assist

Thursday: November 6th
13.30-17.30 Introduction, Surya A, and Surya B
Friday: November 7th
13.30-17.30 Standing Poses
Saturday: November 8th
12.00-17.00 Forward bends, Twists, and Backbends
Sunday: November 9th
12.30-15.30 Inversions, Teachers Pick, and Recap
Pricing:
Full Training:

Individual Drop in Days:
- 200 chf / 170 chf reduced (Thurs-Sat)

- 1 week unlimited Yoga at TLG Nov 6th-9th (for both drop in days and full program participants) - this is to experience how hands on assists can be done during an entire class
