The Rockpile Museum invites families to celebrate early American history with a hands-on children’s craft event in honor of America 250, the nationwide commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States.Space is limited to 50 children, ages 5 to 12 years old, accompanied by a parent or grandparent.
FREE event - ADVANCED RESERVATION IS REQUIRED. Reservations open Tuesday, January 27.
The event will take place Saturday, February 14, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Rockpile Museum. Designed especially for children, this interactive program allows young participants to explore Revolutionary War history through creative, age-appropriate crafts. One featured activity includes making clothespin Revolutionary War soldiers, along with other simple hands-on projects that bring the era to life.
