Handmade Holiday: 4-Week Handbuilding Class

Looking for a unique holiday gift idea or a creative way to unwind this season? Join us for a fun and festive four-week handbuilding class! Whether you're crafting personalized gifts, making a platter for your holiday table, or simply taking time for yourself, this class is the perfect escape from the holiday hustle.

This class is suitable for all skill levels and for anyone aged 13+. Each session includes demonstrations, group activities, and one-on-one guidance. Projects will range from mugs, trays and soap dishes to ornaments and more! Over the course of four weeks, you’ll follow the entire ceramic process—from shaping clay to glazing your pieces.

By the end of the class, you’ll take home 6-8 handmade pieces, all of which are food, microwave, and dishwasher safe!

Class Dates
Sundays, 11 AM – 1 PM:

• Session 1: November 10
• Session 2: November 24
• Session 3: December 1
• Session 4: December 8
  (Note: No class on November 17)

Cost: $190 (includes all materials, clay, glaze, and kiln firings)

Open Studio Access:
Students will have access to open studio time on Saturdays from 12-2 PM and Wednesdays from 6-8pm in addition to regularly scheduled class time while the class is in session. Open studio is supervised, but instruction will be provided only during class time.

The front doors to the PACA building are locked. When you arrive, please call this number (814) 520 5089, and your instructor will buzz you in.

*Accessibility: If you require an elevator (we are on the third floor), please let us know ahead of time at [email protected], and we will have someone assist you. (The elevator is old-fashioned, and you cannot call it with a button.)

Class Policies:
Classes require a minimum of 3 students to run. In the event of cancellation by Erie ClaySpace, you will have the option to transfer to a similar class or receive a full refund. Refunds are available with at least one week’s notice before the start of class. No refunds are issued for missed sessions, but students can use open studio time to catch up.
