Handgun Level 1 is an introduction to handgun course. This class is designed for beginner level handgun owners, but is highly recommended for even experienced shooters who want to refine their skills. This is a 4 hour all hands on class that includes dry fire and live fire. Perfect for those interested in getting into conceal carry, home, and self defense. This class will help you become more confident, safe, and proficient with your handguns. Things Covered in Class:
Safety Rules and Safe Gun Handling
Gear Considerations
Basic handgun parts and functions
Proper loading and unloading procedures
Fundamentals of Marksmanship
Ready positions
Proper draw stroke techniques (from concealed, or outside the waistband.)
Reloads
Basic Malfunction Clearance
Required Equipment:
Modern Semi-auto handgun (no revolvers or .22s)
100 rounds of ammo
Modern Kydex or Hybrid Holster (IWB, OWB, or AIWB) (If you have one)
At Least 2 handgun magazines
Magazine Carrier (if you own one)
Belt
Eye and Ear protection
Ball Cap
Weather Appropriate Clothing
Water
Notebook and Pen
