Handel’s Messiah in the Cathedral Chapel: An Easter Eve Afternoon Concert

Welcome to Handel’s Messiah in the Cathedral Chapel: An Easter Eve Afternoon Concert! Join us at the Cathedral Chapel for an afternoon of music and celebration. Experience the beautiful melodies of Handel’s Messiah performed live by a small ensemble of 8 soloist singers, a string quartet and harpsicord/bass continuo. This in-person event is the perfect way to kick off your Easter weekend. Tickets are free, but donations are welcome to help pay for the musicians and music expenses associated with putting on the concert. Seating is limited due to the intimate setting of the chapel. Please only reserve tickets that you intend to use. The concert is recommended for ages 10 and up. Older children are welcome to join us for the concert, but please keep in mind that it is an intimate setting and a longer performance (2.5 hours). We kindly ask that young guests be able to listen quietly without disturbing the music. All seating is general admission and doors will open 30 minutes prior to the concert.
