Handbuilt Slab-Vases Workshop (2-days)
About this Event
In this two-part class, we will learn how to design and draw out a template for a slab vase, use the slab roller, cut exact shapes into slabs, slip and score edges together, and glaze the vases. We will also learn about the stages of drying clay and some techniques to make a smoother, sturdier piece. This is a great class for beginners who want to expand their hand building knowledge.
Attendees should wear clothes that they are okay with getting some clay on, exacto blades if they have any, and their smiling faces!

Open to ages 18 and up. 12 and up may attend but will not be provided tools.
