Handbound Leather Journal Workshop
About this Event
Looking for a creative afternoon? Join Squirrel Crafts at Brocksden Country School Museum and learn the art of traditional leather bookbinding while creating a beautiful journal to take home.
Create a beautiful leather journal by hand in this beginner-friendly workshop at Brocksden Country School Museum.
In this relaxed, hands-on class, you'll learn the traditional techniques used to bind a genuine leather journal from start to finish. You'll punch the stitching holes, hand-sew the binding, and assemble a journal that's both practical and beautiful.
No previous experience is needed. Whether you've never picked up a needle or you're looking to try a new craft, you'll be guided through every step at a comfortable pace.
By the end of the workshop, you'll head home with a handcrafted leather journal that's perfect for sketching, journaling, travel notes, or gifting.
