Get Ready for Hand Sewing Foundations!

Hand Sewing Foundations is a 2-hour workshop for complete beginners. You will learn the core techniques every hand sewer needs, practised at your own pace, with everything provided.

What You Will Learn

• Threading a needle and making a secure knot
• Basting stitch
• Back stitch
• Catch stitch
• Blind hem stitch
• Slip stitch

What You Take Home

Every participant leaves with a take-home sewing kit: needles, a stitch ripper, thread snips, a spool of thread, pins, and thread wax. Everything you need to keep practising at home.

Who This Workshop Is For

This workshop is designed for anyone who has never sewn by hand before, wants to build confidence with a needle and thread, or is curious about sewing without a machine.
