Join Mechanics' Hall & Evangeline Randazzo for a lesson on hand sewing with a focus on creating and mending projects. Plus, a costume swap!
About this Event

Participants can expect to learn several fundamental skills related to garment construction, including cutting/sewing a basic pattern, as well as hand-stitching techniques.

All materials will be provided and all skills taught can be done with or without a machine. The workshop will be followed by an open advising session, during which participants will receive one-on-one, professional guidance on their costume construction projects.

Please bring along any projects, ideas, or inspiration to use as a starting point.

We will also have a costume swap, so bring the silly, strange, and unusual garments you no longer need.

The workshop will begin at 2:00 PM(doors open at 1:30 PM)

Tickets are on a sliding scale; please pay what you can afford, and consider paying it forward for others if you are in a position to do so.
