Join expert hand papermaker Phylecia Sutherland for an immersive journey into the ancient craft of papermaking.

You'll learn about different fibres, the fascinating process of pulp preparation, and master the tools—the essential mould and deckle—used to form flawless sheets.

On the day, you'll have access to a variety of mould and deckle sizes, including special envelope forms! You get to pick and choose the perfect sizes to create a custom collection.

You will leave the class with practical sheet-forming experience, a deep understanding of the papermaking process, and inspiration for endless creative possibilities with your new skill.

Note: Papermaking is a wonderfully messy process, so please dress in clothes you don't mind getting damp! Each participant will proudly take home approximately half a dozen sheets of their own handmade paper.
