Hand-Painted Lampshade Workshop with Alvaro Picardo

As part of London Craft Week, ClothShop by Christopher Farr Cloth invites you to a hand-painted lampshade workshop led by artist Álvaro Picardo, celebrating the exhibition Illuminating Worlds: Light as Storytelling.

Taking place at the Christopher Farr Cloth showroom, this hands-on workshop offers participants the opportunity to explore the art of decorative lampshade painting under Álvaro’s expert guidance. Inspired by the exhibition, which brings together leading contemporary artists and makers, guests will paint and create their own lampshade.

Each attendee will be able to take home their finished piece, paired with a handmade lamp base generously donated by Sammy’s Foundation — a charity dedicated to supporting and empowering young people with complex neurological conditions through craft and creative training.

Food and drink will be served during the session. Capacity is limited and advance booking is required.
