Create your own hand knit chunky blanket with Sydnie from Canterberry Creations!
In this class you will learn the skills and techniques needed to create all the chunky warm and fuzzy blankets your heart desires.
This class DOES NOT include supplies. You will need to purchase your yarn and bring it with you to class (see below).
Duration 3hrs
Cost: $40 - Class instruction only
Min age: 12 yrs (ages 12-15 must be accompanied by a registered adult)
All who attend must be registered.
Class time- 3 hours (instructions can be given for finishing, if you can not stay for the duration)
Supplies Needed:
Bernat Blanket Extra Thick Yarn 72yrds
You will need a minimum of 2 skeins, but we recommend purchasing 4-5, just in case (you can always return the unused after class). Make sure it is the right type of yarn when purchasing, the craft store employees will be able to confirm.
This can be purchased at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc.
Be sure to purchase the EXACT yarn and length (Extra Thick is NOT the same as Thick!). If you purchase a thinner yarn you will need additional skeins.
*A lighter color is recommended for beginners as it is easier to count and track stitches.
Please NO outside food or drink! Our Cafe counter has plenty of options for anything you may be hungry or thirsty for!
