In this class, participants will learn to carve and paint a charming holiday gnome ornament from wood. The class will be guided by experienced instructors, Roger & Jackie Becker, taken step-by-step through the carving process, using basic tools and techniques to shape the wood into the classic gnome with his hat shading those tricky eyes. After a lunch break, participants will painting their gnome, adding vibrant colors to bring their creation to life. Suitable for beginners and intermediate carvers, this workshop will combine both carving and painting for a festive, handmade holiday decoration.
Saturday, October 18, 9:00am - 3pm with a 45 minute lunch break
Saturday November 8, 9:00am - 3pm with a 45 minute lunch break
$70 includes all materials and instruction. Carving knives and protective gear are provided.
