Learn to create amazing ceramic items using just your hands, fingers, and simple tools! Potter Nancy Scilipote will teach you ancient hand building techniques such as coil building, slab building and pinch pots – and how to enhance your creations with surface textures and glazes. No experience needed. Classes will be held in Gallery 53’s fully-equipped ground level pottery studio. If you’ve always wanted to try making pottery but have been intimidated by the wheel, this is a great way to dive in.
