Handbuilding is the oldest method of pottery-making and is a great introduction to working with clay. In this class, students of all skill levels will create functional items like cups, plates, bowls, boxes and more, using only their hands and simple tools. Participants will learn the essential techniques of clay preparation, building your pieces, carving, sculpting, decorating, glazing, and finishing your pottery under the guidance of local artist and instructor, Brooke Gillon.
Students will be sent a SnapPay link to pay their $125 class fee after they have paid their studio fee.
After Jan. 16, any student who has not paid their class fee will forfeit their studio fee and their seat will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
