𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟭 is a focused 6‑hour workshop for students ready to move beyond the basics and build reliable, safe handbalancing skills. Designed for motivated beginner to intermediate practitioners, the session emphasizes alignment, strength‑to‑skill progressions, and practical drills that translate directly into Hatha and Vinyasa classes. Participants will leave with repeatable cues, targeted exercises, and a short practice sequence to continue developing balance and confidence on the hands.

This workshop picks up where introductory handbalance work leaves off. We’ll refine wrist, shoulder, and core alignment; develop efficient entry and exit strategies for common handstand variations; and practice balance management through micro‑adjustments and fall‑safes. The approach is technical, incremental, and safety‑first, with options and regressions so everybody can progress at a steady, sustainable pace.

✦ Strength and mobility drills that target the exact muscles and ranges needed for stable hand support.
✦ Progressions and regressions for wall work, tuck and straddle entries, and basic press attempts.
✦ Balance strategies including weight shifts, fingertip control, and breath‑based steadiness.
✦ Safe falling and exit techniques to reduce fear and prevent injury.
✦ A take‑home mini practice to reinforce gains between classes.
