Hampshire Healthy Heroes Activity Session for Registered Childminders

Hampshire Healthy Heroes activity session – this FREE session is for Ofsted Registered Childminders and includes oral, physical and emotional health for children aged 3+

(you may bring other children with you who are not within this age group, but at least one child must be within the targeted preschool age group).

You will need your Ofsted Registration number to book your FREE space.

Hampshire Healthy Families collaborate with early years settings supporting healthy starts for young children with the aim of positively impacting emotional, physical and dental health outcomes.

During the interactive session children are educated through play and exploration, to help them understand the importance of looking after themselves and have the knowledge to implement healthy habits with the support of their parents, carers and early years provider.

Our Hampshire Healthy Heroes activity session is designed to be delivered to pre-school children by our Community Health Development Workers at a local community venue alongside their Registered Childminder. The session lasts approximately 1.5 hours but will be adjusted appropriately to support adults and children attending.

Following each session, each Registered Childminder will be provided with a digital health toolkit including learning resources to be enabled to continue to promote healthy routines and habits within their setting.
