Hammered Flowers Workshop

Hello all! I am so excited to spend a fun evening at Lakeside Bookshop with you all creating some one of a kind artwork! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll arrange flowers and leaves onto a notecard or bookmark and carefully hammer them into the paper. This then transfers their natural pigments, colors, shapes, and textures onto the card. Once your floral designs are complete, you can add delicate black pen details and stamps—or leave them just as nature created them. It’s amazing to see the unique beauty that each flower leaves behind, and no two will ever be exactly alike! Each participant will create a set of 3 one-of-a-kind notecards, complete with envelopes, and two bookmarks. All supplies are included. And yes, it will get a little noisy with the hammering—but don’t worry, it’s just the sound of art being made!
