Hammered Chain-Making One-Day Workshop

Making a chain with clasp is a fun way to cover many aspects to working with metal and making a unique hand-made piece of jewelry. It includes forming, cutting or sawing, filing, annealing, soldering, hammering, and clasp-making.

$99 workshop fee does not include materials.

Materials cost: $45 for silver, $12 for copper—Cash only please, payable to the instructor the day of the workshop.

(For safety, be sure to wear closed toe shoes and have long hair pulled back with clips or in a ponytail.)

We will have an hour break for lunch midday. The studio will be closed during this break, but there are nearby parks where you can eat lunch if you brought your own, or you can check out one of the local restaurants in the area.

About the instructor: Pamela Bosco started Bosco Jewelry in 2000 while on Peaks Island. She also worked with well-known goldsmith Sam Shaw for four years.
