SHORELINE WALKS FREE COMMUNITY WALKS
Explore neighborhoods, parks and trails on some of the best walking routes in our City. Designed for adults ages 50+ but open to all ages and abilities, each walk is led by a Volunteer Walk Leader and all walks are free. No need to sign up, just show up at the meetup location and we'll take care of the rest! Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome to join.

Hamlin Park Double Loop Walk – FREE, Tue. 8/8 @ 10am
Meetup Location: Hamlin Park, 6006 15th Ave NE. Park in the second parking lot, just before the ball field. Arrive early because there could be a problem finding a parking spot.
Walk Difficulty Rating: Moderately difficult. 2.5 miles/2 hours. Elevation gain 225 feet. The entire walk is on forest trails. There are some steep hills and stairways without railings. The pace will be relatively slow.
Walk Leader: Donna
Description: Our first loop will start by heading to the southeast corner of the park and the adjacent Briarcrest Park which is undergoing a VERY major renovation. We will then make a big loop around the park and back to our start. Our second loop will be a much smaller loop inside the first loop.
Note: Wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots and you might want have a walking stick.
