2024 is our inaugural year! Our first plein air festival will run from June 6th to June 9th 2024.Registrations open SOON in March 2024. Sign up to our newsletter to receive our Call to Artists!
Our event includes:
3 days of plein air painting in the greater Hamilton area
Opportunities to engage with the public as they watch you work
Judging by local plein air artists
Cash Prizes totalling $3150!
1st Overall, 2nd Overall, 3rd Overall, Best in Nocturn, Best in Urban, Best in Escarpment
Honorable Mentions: 2 per category/overall – achievement certificates awarded
Competitor packages include:
Event t-shirts for competitors
Suggested location maps to find popular landmarks in Hamilton
Coupons for local eateries/businesses
A list of local eateries, art supply shops, hotels/motels
