Curious—or concerned—about the invasive Spotted Lanternfly and how it’s affecting our trees and gardens? Join us for our Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 6, at 6:30 PM at Whitney Center. The public is invited.We’re thrilled to welcome Claire Rutledge, renowned entomologist from the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station, as our guest speaker. Claire will share fascinating insights into the spread of the Spotted Lanternfly, its impact on Connecticut’s ecosystems, and what we can do.
The evening will begin with a brief business meeting, followed by Claire’s engaging and informative presentation. Refreshments will be served and time set aside to get to know your fellow land trust members.
