Hearts & Halos: Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness invites you to Halo Tree: Angel Ornament Workshop!
Last year, we introduced our very first Halo Tree virtually, creating personalized ornaments in honor of 34 angel babies. This year, we're bringing the experience to life, and we can't wait to share it with you!
Join us for an afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, love, and remembrance as we decorate special Christmas ornaments in honor of our angel babies.
Each participant will have the opportunity to create TWO ornaments! One will be displayed on our beautiful Halo Tree in the Minden Medical Center lobby throughout the holiday season, and the other will be yours to take home and cherish.
WHEN: Saturday, December 12th, 2026
TIME: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
WHERE: Minden Medical Center Cafeteria
1 Medical Plaza, Minden, LA 71055
FREE ADMISSION!
We'll have ornament decorating, refreshments, fellowship, and plenty of holiday cheer!
We'll provide the ornaments, decorating supplies, and pink, blue, black, and white paints. Have a different color or special decoration in mind? Feel free to bring your own and make your ornaments uniquely yours!
GIVING FROM THE HEART
We're also teaming up with Birth Well Shreveport to spread a little extra love this holiday season! If you'd like, you can bring new or gently used baby items to help support families in need. Donations are completely optional.
Whether you're remembering a baby you carried, a baby you held, or a little one who will forever live in your heart, we'd love for you to join us.
Space is limited, and registration is required. Each registrant can bring 3 guests. Children are welcome! Please review the guest information and event guidelines when registering so we can prepare for everyone.
