Hallé Archive Talk - Elgar and the Hallé (Part 2)

A talk to introduce items about Edward Elgar that have recently been added to the Hallé archive by Hallé Archivist, Heather Roberts.

This is the second in a series of free talks delving in to the Hallé Archive and exploring the history of the Hallé Concerts Society.

At each event, the Hallé archive team will show items from the archive, sharing stories about the people who helped shape the Hallé over the decades and exploring the impact the Hallé has had on Manchester's music scene.

The topic of this presentation is Elgar and the Hallé and is the second in a two part series of talks on the famous Composer. On Friday 6th November, Hallé Archivist, Heather Roberts, will introduce items which have recently been added to the Hallé archive from a private collection.

The talk is scheduled after the chamber music performance in Hallé St Peters. If attended the chamber music concert, please head upstairs to the Victoria Wood Hall afterwards to continue your visit to the Hallé.
