Verónica was born in Buenos Aires and her interest in tango started at the age of 12 when she attended milongas with her aunt, a devoted milonguera. They went to Miguel's Angel Zotto "Una noche de Tango" show together. This experience touched Verónica so much that she signed up for tango classes whenever she just started to go the high school.
From that moment Verónica's life was connected with tango.
In 1999, she continued to study dance, attending classes and workshops with various masters such as Gloria and Rodolfo Dinzel (Dinzel Studio), Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes, Nito and Elba (Club Gricel), Gloria and Eduardo Arquimbau, Gavito and Maria Plazaola (La Gallery del Tango). In the following years, Veronica also expanded hers knowledge by studying ballet, jazz dance, stretching, Argentinian folklore, various Latin American dances and Rock&Roll.
Verónica began her professional career in 2009, and in 2011 she started to dance with Alejandro Beron. They performed at many milongas in Buenos Aires, among others at Club Sunderland, Salon Canning, Club Villa Malcolm, Club Fulgor de Villa Crespo. In 2012 and 2013, Verónica and Alejandro became the finalists of the Metropolitano Championship of Buenos Aires in the Tango, Milonga and Vals categories and won 2nd place in Milonga and 3rd place in Vals. In 2013, 2014 and 2015 they were finalists of the Mundial de Tango in the Tango Salon category.
In 2016, Verónica started dancing with Damian Mechura, teaching and performing in Buenos Aires and traveling throughout Europe and the USA. In that same year, Verónica and Damian became World Cup finalists in Buenos Aires in the Tango De Pista category.
Since 2018, Verónica divides her time between Buenos Aires and UK where she teaches along with Dante Culcuy in London, Oxford and other cities around the country.
