Anthony M. Sammarco who will discuss his book, Halloween Traditions in Boston. Mr. Sammarco will tell the history of the Salem Witchcraft Trials which caused such tremendous anxiety and fear and the deaths of many innocent people in Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1692, to the decorating of Beacon Hill as a veritable neighborhood of whimsy, with macabre skulls, bones, and cobwebs, to pumpkins and lighted jack o'lanterns.Menu: Autumn Buffet: Chicken Marsala, Broiled Salmon with Cucumber Dill Vinaigrette, Garden Salad, Roasted Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables. Dessert: Brownies and Cookies. No Vegetarian Option.

Doors will open at 11:30am and lunch will begin at Noon at New Seabury Country Club. The cost to register is $42 for members and $52 for non-members. All are welcome to this event on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
