Halloween Photo Mixer in DTLA

Join us on Saturday, October 25th, from 3–6 PM for a Halloween-themed Photo Mixer at FD Photo Studios Hill location in DTLA—a night of eerie aesthetics, spooky snapshots, and creative connection.

Shoot your costume before celebrating Halloween weekend in a creative studio space designed for collaboration. Whether you’re building a portfolio, testing a costume concept, or just having fun during spooky season, you’ll be in great company with fellow creatives.

For just $20 for photographers and $15 for models, you’ll gain access to three unique photo studios perfect for capturing your Halloween looks:

Open to all creatives: photographers, videographers, models, actors, HMUAs, dancers, brands, writers, designers, stylists, producers, and beyond. If you need content or have been meaning to book a studio, this is your moment.

Studio Setup: While this is a Halloween-themed event, the studios will not be fully decorated with Halloween props or set dressing. Fog machines and select props/backdrops will be available to add atmosphere, but the sets are not pre-decorated. Feel free to bring your own props and accessories! Please note: hard-to-clean or damaging materials such as fake blood, paint, glitter, or liquids are not permitted.

Weapons Policy: All weapons must be props only. Real or functional weapons are strictly prohibited.

Models: While the studios are provided, models are not. Photographers are encouraged to bring their own model—or collaborate spontaneously with someone at the event.

This is a collaborative mixer: by default, everyone can both photograph and be photographed unless they opt out. Please respect all boundaries.

Entry: Everyone attending must have a valid ticket, including models.
