"Embrace the Darkness" is a haunting October exhibit celebrating the uncanny, supernatural, and mysterious elements of the Day of the Dead and Halloween. Artists are invited to submit works that delve into the depths of fear, the allure of the supernatural, and the beauty within the darkness. The exhibit will run from October 2 to October 31, 2025, at Las Laguna Gallery in Los Angeles, United States. Artists can submit up to three pieces for consideration, with a submission deadline of September 16 for in-gallery consideration and September 27 for online-only submissions. Accepted mediums include drawing, mixed media, and painting. Selected artworks will be displayed in the gallery, with at least one piece chosen exclusively for the online-only gallery. Artists also have the option to secure rented wall space if their work is not selected by the jury. An additional option is available for inclusion in the Artsy online worldwide gallery for an extra fee, providing global exposure.
