Halloween Party
About this Event
Most neurodivergent adults don’t celebrate Halloween. Not because we don’t like the idea, but because clubs and house parties are a nightmare for those of us with sensory processing difficulties.
But Halloween should be fun for everyone. So, Scrap the Mask Collective is bringing you a sensory-friendly Halloween party! The party will consist of 2 hours of spooky fun, but there is no pressure to stay for the full two hours, you may come and go as you please.
There will be drinks (alcohol and soft drinks) to buy from the bar, and Halloween tunes on a low volume. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at and a lot of space for a boogie if dancing is your jam. There will be games, temporary tattoos and accessories, and a costume contest. All of these are completely optional.
Dressing up is encouraged, but if you don’t feel up for that then you are more than welcome to come along in whatever clothes you feel comfortable in and there is zero judgement or expectations. This is your chance to have fun in whichever way works best for you.
I can’t wait to celebrate Halloween with you!!
