Welcome to the official event page for Willamette Bewitched Halloween Paddle 2025!Each year, we host an annual paddle event which blends the enchanting spirit of Halloween with a love for paddling on the Willamette River. We invite local paddlers of all ages to join, in costume, for a spell-binding adventure near and on the water.
Before our 11:30 AM launch from Crystal Lake Boat Landing, arrive early to enjoy a leisurely setup with warm drinks, themed treats, photo ops, and kid-friendly activities. Come dressed to impress! Our costume contest has prizes on the line. Plus, bring non-perishable items for the community food drive and you’ll be entered into a raffle! A special thanks goes out to our ongoing sponsor, Peak Sports, for their continued involvement.
This annual event is for kayaks, SUPs, and canoes only. Life jackets are a must, but don't worry, they won't spoil your magical look!
IMPORTANT NOTE: This event is geared towards experienced stand-up paddleboarders and kayakers. You should feel confident on the water as it's not suitable for beginners. Please be aware there are no lifeguards, guides, or rescue teams. By participating, you acknowledge the inherent risks and are responsible for your own safety. This casual, non-sanctioned gathering promises a fun time, and we hope you join us safely prepared!
— Broad Timeline for the Day’s Events —
🧙🏼♀️10:00-11:00 am: Individual participant setup and preparation.
🎃10:30-11:am: This is when we will be running the costume contest! There will also be a crafting booth for making miniature brooms and coloring.
🕷️11:00 am: Everyone gathers for a group picture, safety reminders, and announcements.
👻11:30 am: First kayaks will launch! Launching will be coordinated by the event organizers.
🧛♀️~12:30 pm- First kayaks reach Michael's Landing Boat Ramp
⭐️Transportation: Participants are responsible for their own transportation at the beginning and end of the event.
