Inspired by my experiences at Ghost and Sleep Tokens concerts this year. If anyone is like me, they've been told all their life that they are too wild, just following a trend, not serious enough, too serious, just be normal, no one else does that, why are you so emotional, you're too sensitive, too loud, too quiet, why do you like weird things, too much, too much, too much....
I opened this store for those people and people that still have curiosity, wonder, and just want to find somewhere where they don't have to dim themselves. Where you can wear that badass corset, those cool boots that no one else likes, hell, we have people stop in in cosplay!
This Halloween, I want to do just that. Come in your gothiest outfit. Come in your most girly pastels that make you shine brighter than the sun. cosplay as hard as you want. trade trinkets and meet others with similar taste who are just desperate to be themselves in a world that silently judges you and talks behind your back.
And for the kids? absolutely bring them by! we will shower them in candy and affection. I want cozy and feral and safety and belonging on at least one day of the year!
Make the Hangout a meeting place before you head off on other Halloween adventures. Or just stay and chat, vibe, or network.
