Halloween Girls Night - Cookie Decorating Class at Salute Wine Bar

You’ll get to explore Salute’s unique wine wall, enjoy the cozy atmosphere, and decorate your very own set of Halloween-themed sugar cookies. Sip, socialize, and get creative with us for the perfect girls’ night out!

Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! KJ Designs is here to help! In this 1.5-hour class, we'll cover the basics of sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided in class along with a live, in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and your favorite girls)!

About this Class

This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or you're simply looking for a fun night out with your girlfriends, this is the class for you!

We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a tray to take your awesome creations home in – we just need YOU! Each guest gets 4 cookies, 3–4 icing colors, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

This class will be held at Salute Wine Bar at 212 Carroll St, Ste 130, Fort Worth, TX 76107. Seating is limited to 10 guests, making this the perfect intimate setting for a girls’ night out! Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or grab the whole crew and make a night of it. Sip some wine, decorate some cookies, and enjoy a little spooky-season fun!

Things to Bring

Wondering what you need to bring to have a successful time decorating? Well – nothing’s required – but here are the things we recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!

• Bring your glasses! There’s a reference slide deck to help you decorate, but if things get blurry far away, seeing glasses may be a great bet.
• Bring your phone! I love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone!
• Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they're also challenging! A good attitude makes all the difference.
• Bring your girls! This one is made for a fun night out! 💗

DIY / Add-On Kits

Want to keep the cookie decorating fun going after class? Order a sugar cookie class kit and take the experience home with you to teach a child or friend! Cookie Class DIY Kits are created before your class, and you'll pick them up and take them with you after class.

How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keeps them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible – ideally in the first week after you've taken it home. Cookies are heat sealed for freshness, but again, use them within a week to make sure they taste their best.

Class Cancellation Policy

Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including your Eventbrite fees.

Classes with attendance below 8 people will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either get a class credit for a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 7 days before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.

Weather Policy

Sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules. In the event of inclement weather, I’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event, but rest assured – we’ll figure something out!
