You and all your friends are invited to party at Davis’ only community-owned grocery store!

Every October, we celebrate Co-op Month and our Members, who have been committed to cooperation in Davis for more than 50 years! We are so grateful for your support and for the opportunity to celebrate our wins together. And by celebrate, we mean party!

It’s a Halloween party, so wear a costume 🎃 and enjoy the following free activities:

• Trick-or-treating
• Costume Contest
• Pumpkin Contests (details coming soon!)
• Photobooth
• Live music by Bomba Fried Rice
• Free Books for Kids and Cooks
• Community Mural

Plus local food and vendors!

Co-op Members can access the VIP Lounge from 5-6 pm for a free drink and snacks.

Bring the whole fam, or your whole dorm, and party like it's your duty as a good cooperator (because it is!)

Pumpkin Contest Details

We are excited to announce there will be two pumpkin competitions this year! Kids and adults are invited to enter either competition for prizes.

Decorated Pumpkins—Decorate a pumpkin at home with paint, markers, rhinestones, leaves, yarn, pipe cleaners, etc. You can decorate a white or yellow, small or large pumpkin.

Home-Grown Pumpkins—New this year! Home gardeners are invited to enter their home-grown pumpkins and gourds in this state-fair style competition. Your home-grown pumpkin doesn’t have to be large, it just has to be grown by you at home.

Drop off your entries at the contest booth from 4-5 pm. Viewing and voting starts as soon as the party does! Partygoers vote for the best in each competition. We’ll tally the votes and announce the winners at 7:30 pm at the contest booth. There will be two prizes for each competition: first prize and runner-up. Pumpkins should be retrieved by 8 pm at the contest booth if you want to keep them. Good luck, cooperators!
