Halloween Art Session & Ghost Tour Experience

Ready for a spook-tacular night of 'spirited' goings-on? Join us for an unforgettable evening of art and ghosts on Galveston's Historic Strand!

A Frightfully Fun Evening

Your night begins in the private studio of local artists Sharon Hendry and Tish Reed. You'll tap into your creative side as they guide you in making your own unique, Halloween-themed mixed media art. No experience is needed, and we'll provide all the supplies. These fun creations will be perfect for decorating your home or sharing with friends.

Afterward, we'll hit the streets for a ghostly walking tour with Kathleen Maca, author of Ghosts of Galveston. Kathleen will lead us on a walk through the Historic Strand District, sharing spine-chilling tales of the island's permanent residents. Keep your camera ready—you may just capture a specter in a window or on the street, as many have before. But don't be surprised if you feel an unseen tug on your sleeve or a chill on a warm fall night... it's just their way of saying hello.

Event Details

We'll meet at The Proletariat Bar in the National Artist Loft Building (2221 Market Street). From there, Sharon and Trish will lead us to their studio to kick off the evening.

TICKETS ARE EXTREMELY LIMITED for this special experience. We've designed this event to be an intimate evening for a few lucky people, so get your tickets before they vanish!

Please wear comfortable walking shoes, and be aware of curbs and uneven walking paths. The Strand is well lit, so flashlights aren't necessary but you are welcome to bring one if you like.

No video or audio recording allowed during the tour. STILL PHOTOS ARE ENCOURAGED-you never know who or what you might capture!

Guide takes no responsibility for injuries incurred during tour. There are limited restroom opportunities at this time on the Strand, so it is encouraged to "take care of business" ahead of time.

Tour will be given rain or shine except in the case of a severe thunderstorm. Ticket fee is non-refundable.
