Preston Guild Lodge was founded in 1922 especially to be a Hall Stone Lodge under the Masonic Million Memorial Fund to create a Masonic Peace Memorial in London to honour the Fallen of the First World War.
On the 5th December 1925, Master of the Lodge, Sam Oliver, had the Hall Stone Jewel conferred on him of behalf of Preston Guild Lodge. It has adorned every Master of the Lodge since then.
To celebrate the Centenary of that momentous occasion, we have had the Jewel restored to its former splendour.
We are delighted to welcome the Provincial Grand Master to this rather unique celebration
