“In Our Own Back Yards”- Hall County Master Gardeners Garden Walk on May 16The self-guided tour gives access to five private residential gardens and one public garden. With the theme “In Our Own Back Yards,” it’s a chance to see what Hall County Master Gardners have created to make their landscapes more appealing and inviting, no matter the conditions. Learn how to garden using native plants, attract pollinators, enhance a yard that’s shady, or design a garden that’s full of whimsy and art.
“Every two years during the Garden Walk, we get the chance to see beyond the garden gate into some of the most beautiful, creative and sustainable gardens in Hall County,” Erickson says. “Along with our Spring and Fall Garden Expos, our Garden Walk is one of our most popular events.”
Tickets to the Saturday, May 16, Hall County Master Gardeners Garden Walk are being offered at a discount through April 30. The cost is $15 per person through April 30; after April 30, the cost goes to $20 per person. A $1 service fee will be charged for credit card purchases.
Tickets may be purchased at the organization’s website: hallmastergardeners.com, or at the Hall County Extension Office.
The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. No pets, please.
“We’re delighted to offer tickets at a discounted rate for the remainder of April,” says Suzanne Erickson, chair of this year’s HCMG Garden Walk. “The Garden Walk is an engaging way to be inspired by gardens throughout the area and to discover ideas for your own gardens.”
