Halifax Gals & Pals: Blind Date With a Book

Join us for an evening of bookish fun! Bring a wrapped copy of your all-time favourite book for a white elephant style book exchange.
About this Event

Blind Date with a Book is back for the third year in a row! This festive fan favourite gives us all the chance to unwrap a gift and discover our new favourite winter read.

How it works: Before the event, wrap up a copy of your all-time favourite book, add a few clues and a quick note about why you love it, but keep the title a surprise!

We’ll swap books White Elephant style, choosing what book to open just based on the clues. Don't like your chances? You can also choose to steal a book that's already been opened! Everyone will leave with a surprise read to cozy up with over the winter months.

We’ll do our best to organize tables by genre, so be sure to tell us your favourites at checkout. We can’t guarantee a perfect match, but finding something unexpected is part of the fun!
