Join us upstairs at Garrison’s Oxford Taproom (Quinpool Road) on Tuesday, April 29th at 7pm to chat about what the future holds for our group!Although we’re not an official society, we’ll be running it a bit like an AGM with an agenda with topics for discussion that we want your feedback on.
We’re holding the event at Garrison’s Quinpool Road location in part because they aren’t charging us for the space and we want the meeting to be accessible financially (The Board Room charges a $10 admission fee) but also to see what you’d think about moving Cosplay Over Beverages to that location. There are pros and cons to this, and we want your thoughts!
Other topics for discussion include parties, workshops and how you’d like to be contacted about our group given our swiftly changing social media landscape. We also want to hear what YOU would like us to be doing!
Please note that the space is up a flight of stairs.
Although the space IS free, Garrison is doing us a favour by hosting us as there is usually a charge/minimum spend. Please buy food and drink the same as you would have at The Board Room. In addition to beer and cider, there are hot beverages and other non-alcoholic options. Food options are limited, but snacks are available for purchase!
Can’t make it? No worries! After the meeting, we’ll be putting together a survey that encompasses all the topics for discussion and any other questions that come up at the meeting. All members will be welcome to submit their thoughts. We can also start discussion threads in the group itself so everyone can have their say.
