Half Day Children's Pottery Workshop ~ Wednesday 9th ~ 6-11yrs

• Morning session 9.30am-12.30pm , or
• Afternoon session 1pm-4pm

Where: Edmund Waller Primary School SE14, entry via the gate on Rutt's Terrace.

Who: Children aged 6-11

Wrap around care available: discounted wrap around care is available either side of this workshop for a further £10, also onsite at Edmund Waller. Please email me for details.

Let your little ones unleash their artistic side and get their hands dirty at this creative pottery workshop, filled with activities to spark their imagination. Sessions are run by Ms Lepere, a primary school teacher at Edmund Waller Primary School, who runs Lepere Ceramics as a small business alongside! Skills:

Your child will have an introduction to hand building techniques, before adding colour to their peices by using decorative slip. They will work on directed projects and be given the all important opportunity to enjoy creative freedom, applying their new skills as they see fit.

In the weeks after the workshop, your child's projects will be dried, fired twice in the kiln and glazed (transparent glaze, to make the decorative slip colour pop!) so collection of their finished products will be at a later date.

Snacks:

Fruit and squash will be available onsite, but feel free to send your child in with a snack from home if you prefer, as there will be a 15min playtime. Please avoid any foods containing nuts. If your child has any food allergies, please get in touch via lepere.ceramics@gmail.com
