Our popular night trail races return to Haldon Forest on Sat 16th Jan 2027. In 2025 it won a prestigious Racecheck gold award.
There’s a single loop 10K course and a shorter 5K course. Both races start & finish in exactly the same place. The trails are mostly gravel so weatherproof & ideal for running in the dark!
For the children we offer a fun one lap 1K race (3-7 yrs) or a two lap 2K race for slightly older children aged 8-11. Routes are clearly marked with reflective poles, reflective arrows & flashing lights..
For all kids races we are happy for adults to run with them for no additional charge. Head torches or chest torches will be needed and a good quality torch will enable you to see the markers much better.
There is plenty of parking (chargeable).
