Haitian Flag Day Celebration & Taste of Haiti 2026

Join the Haitian Center of Evansville as we celebrate Haitian Flag Day with culture, Performance, music, community, food and more.

This event is organized in two parts so that everyone can participate in the celebration.

The gymnasium at C.K. Newsome Community Center will host a free Haitian Flag Day celebration open to the entire community.

No ticket is required to attend this portion of the event.

Activities may include:
• Cultural performances
• Music and dancing
• Community celebration
• Family-friendly atmosphere

Everyone is welcome to come celebrate Haitian culture and community.

The Taste of Haiti VIP Food Experience is the ticketed fundraising portion of the event.

Guests who purchase a VIP bracelet will have access to a curated Haitian culinary experience featuring traditional dishes prepared by community cooks.

Food will be served station-by-station, allowing guests to taste a variety of Haitian favorites.

⚠️ VIP bracelets are required to access the food experience.

⚠️ VIP bracelets are limited to 250 guests total.

All proceeds from the VIP food experience support the programs of the Haitian Center of Evansville, including youth programs, literacy initiatives, ESL support, and community services.
