La Banchina alumna Haegeen will take over our kitchen the 9th, 10th and 11th of January to serve up some delicious Korean food, inspired by the traditions of her family and her home region. 🇰🇷Haegeen – making a real exception in the life of La Banchina – is even bringing in a few original ingredients from Korea. Combining those organic and clean additions with Denmark's wonderful seafood and winter root vegetables, she would like to present the simple, healthy, clean and deep taste of Korea. Some ingredients are extremely rare even for the locals, some are popular childhood snacks, and some bare sentimental values from her grandma's kitchen.
If you're looking for unfamiliar flavours and are curious about real Korean authenticity, if you're doing a healthy start for 2025, or just love to cozy up with super tasty Asian food, that warms up body and soul... Your place is with us on the second weekend of the year.
The third evening is almost sold out now, but you can still find tables for Thursday and Friday. Here's the menu (can be a subject to small changes) so you can get a visual of what awaits!
MUL HUE 물회 - sashimi with winter veggie in kimchi essence
MOJEGI SUJEBI 모제기 손 수제비 - hand pulled noodle in cod broth with fragrant salty seaweed from Masan
SSAM JEOPSI 쌈접시 - assorted winter seaweed, vegetable, and kimchi wrap where you get your hands massy and mouth happy
HONGHAP MIYUKGUK 홍합미역국 - mussel seaweed soup
And lastly, something sweet to end on an even higher note.
