Note: The Women's tournament will only be one day and will happen on Sunday and will play right into double elimination bracket on one net.
*Games will be played 2 out of 3 games to 25, with the 3rd game to 15.
The Men's will be playing both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be on one net until the new year event is done and the stage is broken down and cleaned up. We will be able to set up both nets in the main gym.
*There will be 2 pools playing 2 sets to straight to 21 cap
*Top 4 from each pool will advance to playoffs
*Playoffs will consist of the top 8 teams for single elimination bracket.
*Playoff games will be 2 out of 3 games to 25, with the 3rd game to 15
*Playoffs will follow after pool play is finished
Pool Play:
*Losers will ref next following game. If teams split both games, then the one that scores the least from losing set will ref the next game. Refusing to ref will automatically forfeit your next game.
Bracket play:
Men's - Bottom 2 seeds will ref the first 2 games
Women's - Team to ref the first game will be decided based on which team plays in the last match of the first round.
Please respect the ref's calls. We're all not professionals. If there is an issue where the ref is clearly not paying attention, please let me know and I will deal with it. Teams will need to provide an Up ref, Down ref, and two line judges. Failure to comply will result in an automatic forfeit in their next game.
Payment will be due the week of the tournament by 11/4
