Hackney Half Social Run

Join us for a 10KM social run through East London, designed to bring together runners of all levels for a relaxed, scenic and community-driven experience. This run marks the official last training block ahead of the Hackney Half Marathon weekend on Sunday 17th May.

We’ll meet outside of Chestnut Plaza, just outside of Westfield Stratford, have you checked in, kickstart with a group warm up before organising pace groups with wristbands and heading off. We'll run a loop through some of the best running routes in East London, including the Olympic Park, canal paths, and Victoria Park - then celebrate with a pizza hangout by the Olympic Park Climbing Wall.

Whether you’re coming solo or with friends, this is about good energy, movement, and community.

Route Highlights:

• RUN statue (Olympic Park)
• Hackney Marshes
• Victoria Park (on the pavement area where the Hackney Half route will be)
• River Lea canal paths
• Scenic bridges & park views

After the run:

• Cool down & stretch together
• Walk to the riverside climbing wall area in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
• Enjoy a pizza picnic + hangout

• Try out the rock climbing wall
• Chill, connect, take content 📸

• Attendees will be given a wristband to confirm entry
